To ensure candidates meet the necessary standards for their role, we offer an additional service where candidates undergo a general skills assessment to evaluate their abilities. This assessment focuses on key areas of farm machinery operation and safety to confirm that candidates can handle equipment efficiently and responsibly. The evaluation will cover various practical skills essential for the job, including safe operation, maintenance, and understanding of agricultural vehicles.

Pre Season Induction

In addition to the skills assessment, candidates will undergo a pre-season induction to ensure they are fully prepared to start work as soon as they arrive on the farm. This induction can be tailored to align with your farm’s ethos and address its unique challenges, providing workers with the knowledge and resources they need to adapt quickly and work efficiently

The Induction will cover:

  • Health and safety while working rurally in Australia
  • Conducting daily machine checks and maintenance
  • Fire risks and emergency protocols
  • Effective use of a two-way radio
  • Using GPS systems for farm operations
  • Setting up a bank account and superannuation
  • Applying for a Tax File Number (TFN)
  • Mobile phone networks
